Clyde’s Frame and Wheel Service was established in 1939 by Clyde Spurgeon and was originally located on Orchard Lake Rd and Bagley in Pontiac, MI. We specialized in frame work and suspension repairs.
In August, 1961, Clyde’s son, Charles Spurgeon took over the business and expanded into heavy-duty truck repair. By the mid 70’s, Clyde’s Frame and Wheel moved to a larger location that enabled the addition of a driveshaft and parts department and was taken over by Charles’ two sons, Bob and Gary Spurgeon in 1995.
On top of specialized vehicle and trailer repair, Clyde’s became a trailer dealership and has continued expanding over the decades, including a remodeling inside and out in honor of Gary Spurgeon after his passing in August, 2017.
Now offering a variety of services, parts, trailers, snow plows, commercial and residential lawn mowers, and even Heavy Duty Equipment, Clyde’s frame and Wheel Service truly is a one of a kind repair facility.
